Roompot to acquire Landal GreenParks

Roompot, the Dutch holiday parks operator, will acquire its industry peer Landal GreenParks from Platinum Equity. The transaction is still subject to the approval of the works councils of Landal GreenParks and Roompot, and the European competition authority.

Roompot, a portfolio company of KKR, will have 100 more holiday parks and will be one of the largest holiday park providers in Europe after the acquisition. Together with Landal GreenParks, Roompot manages around 25 million overnight stays per year. The 100 acquired holiday parks are in nine countries, mainly in Northern and Central Europe.

Houthoff advised Platinum Equity, in cooperation with Latham & Watkins LLP, on Landal GreenParks' sale to Roompot. Houthoff's team included Jacques Kröner, Jet Stolk, Margriet Kros, Jeroen van Mourik, Brendan Moloney, Chantal Pressili, Gerrit Oosterhuis, Ageeth Panman and Daniëla van Noort.
