Thoma Bravo acquires Talend

The leading private equity investor Thoma Bravo acquires Talend.

Thoma Bravo focuses on software and technology-enabled services sectors. Talend, a French company, listed on Nasdaq, is leading in data integration and data integrity.

The acquisition is structured as a cash tender offer for all Talend's outstanding ordinary shares, including American Depositary Shares at approximately $2.4 billion. After completion of the offer, a cross-border merger has been effected between Talend SA and a Dutch BV, transferring Talend's operations to a Thoma Bravo affiliate.

Houthoff is advising Thoma Bravo together with Kirkland & Ellis (France and USA). The Houthoff team is headed by Alexander Kaarls and includes Paul de Vries, Willem Liedenbaum, Noah Graves, Joy Hordijk, Grafton Cederburg, Marijn van Horen, Jeroen van Mourik, Brendan Moloney and Diede van de Voort.
