Naomi Dempsey is advocaat counsel en lid van zowel het arbeidsrecht- als het cassatieteam van Houthoff.
Zij heeft ruime ervaring met alle aspecten van het arbeidsrecht en civiel procederen, variërend van individueel en collectief ontslag tot bijvoorbeeld medezeggenschap en arbeidsvoorwaarden. Zij adviseert zowel werkgevers als werknemers (de laatsten m.n. directieleden en hoger management).

Als een van de weinige arbeidsrechtadvocaten in Nederland is Naomi lid van de Vereniging van Civiele Cassatie Advocaten. Als zodanig heeft zij unieke ervaring op het gebied van procesrecht, niet alleen in het voeren en voorbereiden van cassatieprocedures bij de Hoge Raad, maar op alle niveaus. Zij procedeert niet alleen voor cliënten, maar fungeert ook als adviseur voor andere advocaten (binnen en buiten Houthoff) in belangrijke (hoger beroep) zaken, zowel op het gebied van arbeidsrecht als andere rechtsgebieden.

Advised Hexaware Technologies Ltd on the acquisition of Mobiquity Inc. Mobiquity provides digital consulting services for the world’s leading brands, such as Amazon Web Services, Rabobank, Philips, Wawa, Backbase and Otsuka. Houthoff worked jointly with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP on this transaction.

Advised Sandd in the sale and transfer of Sandd to PostNL for an amount of EUR 130 million. This transaction resulted in the acquisition of almost the entire postal market by PostNL.

Houthoff represented Nationale Nederlanden (NN) in proceedings that were brought by the foundation Vereniging Woekerpolis.nl in relation to investment-linked insurance offered by NN. The court ruled that generally speaking NN had provided sufficient information on costs and premiums.
