Saskia is gespecialiseerd in notarieel en vennootschapsrecht, toegespitst op M&A en herstructuringen. Zij geeft regelmatig advies aan Nederlandse en internationale ondernemingen over een breed scala aan zaken op het gebied van vennootschapsrecht, M&A en notarieel recht, waaronder zowel nationale en internationale herstructuringen, overnames en desinvesteringen als het oprichten van binnenlandse en grensoverschrijdende joint ventures. Daarnaast heeft Saskia bij een groot aantal fusies en splitsingen advies en bijstand verleend. Zij is voorts betrokken geweest bij het in het leven roepen van allerlei soorten rechtspersonen waaronder de oprichting van vestigingen, publiek-private samenwerkingen en talrijke internationale projecten voor concernherstructurering en herfinanciering. Saskia geeft geregeld lezingen over kwesties op het gebied van notarieel vennootschapsrecht. Zij is lid van de Koninklijke Notariële Beroepsorganisatie.

Advised together with Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, Telia Company in connection with the divestment of its holding in Azertel. Fintur Holdings B.V., jointly owned by Telia Company and Turkcell, has agreed to sell its 51.3% holding in Azertel, sole shareholder of the Azeri telecommunications operator Azercell, to Azintelecom, a company wholly owned by the Republic of Azerbaijan. The agreed price for Fintur’s 51.3 percent in Azertel is EUR 222 million.

Advised together with Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, Telia Company in connection with the divestment of its holding in Geocell. Fintur Holdings B.V., jointly owned by Telia Company and Turkcell, has agreed to sell 100 percent of its holding in Geocell LLC, to the Georgian telecommunications company JSC Silknet, Georgia’s largest fixed network operator, for a transaction price of USD 153 million.
